Product Description
This is a 2 x 14 mm Reed Switch with a Normally Open Contact.
The switch has two ferrous pins inside that are attracted to each other when a magnetic field is present, closing the switch. When the magnetic field is gone, the pins separate and the switch opens. This allows for a non-contact switching mechanism. The switch can handle up to 1.2A of current.
This module is versatile and can work in various environmental conditions. It has a reliable operating temperature range of -50°C to 140°C.
