Our Bambu Lab X1C and P1S machines run a four-slot filament changer, so a single print can carry up to four colours without anyone touching the machine mid-job. You upload a .3mf saved out of Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer with your colours already assigned, map each one to a filament we stock, and the price comes back from an actual slice of your geometry rather than a volume estimate. It is the cheapest way to get a coloured part that does not need painting.

Every colour change purges filament into a waste tower. On colour-heavy models that waste can exceed the part itself, which pushes both price and print time up noticeably.
Four colours is a hard ceiling per print. A fifth colour means splitting the model or painting.
We need a .3mf with colours already assigned. A plain STL carries no colour data, so we cannot guess your intent from it.
A trace of the previous colour can carry over at a transition, showing as a faint smear on the first millimetre or two of a new colour.
PLA softens from roughly 55–60 °C. Anything destined for a parked car, an enclosure with a motor in it, or direct summer sun should be PETG, ABS or an industrial nylon instead.
Layer lines are always visible up close, and parts are meaningfully weaker across layers than along them — design so loads run in-plane.
