The DroneCAN H-RTK F9P, Holybro’s latest differential high-precision GNSS positioning system, utilizes the DroneCAN protocol for communication. It offers multi-band RTK with quick convergence times and dependable performance, simultaneous reception of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou, and a rapid update rate suitable for highly dynamic and voluminous applications requiring centimeter precision.
The system’s integration of the DroneCAN Protocol ensures up to an 8 Hz navigation update rate, upgradeability, noise immunity, real-time capabilities, and greater robustness against electromagnetic interference compared to UART. It also frees up serial ports on the flight controller, as multiple CAN devices can connect to a single CAN bus through a hub.
Featuring a u-blox F9P module, BMM150 compass, tri-colored LED indicator, and an STM32G4 processor clocked at 170 MHz with 512 KByte Flash and 96KByte RAM, the DroneCAN-F9P supports firmware upgrades via the DroneCAN GUI Tool and is compatible with the open-source Pixhawk series flight controllers.
