4 Channel 5V High Level Solid State Relay Module
The 5V 4-Channel SSR G3MB-202P Solid State Relay Module is a high-performance relay module designed to control up to 2A at 240VAC with a resistive fuse for added protection. Powered by Omron’s G3MB SSR relay components, each of the four relay channels is equipped with three distinct terminals: NO (Normally Open), COM (Common), and NC (Normally Closed).
Unlike traditional mechanical relays, Solid State Relays (SSRs) operate silently and have a much longer lifespan. They can be controlled via a digital input signal, and when the logic voltage is applied to the input, the NC terminal disconnects from the COM, cutting off conductivity. Meanwhile, the NO terminal connects to the COM, allowing current to flow. This simple mechanism makes it easy to turn connected loads on or off, depending on the wiring configuration, without the mechanical wear and noise associated with conventional relays.
Ideal for use in applications that require reliable, noise-free switching, the SSR module is perfect for controlling electronic devices in automation, lighting control systems, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the maximum AC load this module can handle?
This module uses Omron G3MB-202P relays rated for up to 2A at 240VAC on each channel when switching resistive loads.
Can I drive the inputs directly from an Arduino?
Yes. Each input requires a 5V high-level signal with approximately 12.5mA current. You can connect them directly to Arduino digital outputs.
How do I choose between NO and NC terminals?
Use the NO (Normally Open) terminal when you want the circuit closed only after the relay is triggered. Use NC (Normally Closed) if you require the relay to open upon activation. COM is the common reference for both.
