Product Description
This product is a 5-meter long LED strip with 300 RGB LEDs. Each LED has three colors: red, green, and blue. You can use a controller (not included) to change the colors and patterns of the strip. The strip is flexible and can fit around curves and corners. It needs a 24VDC power supply and a controller (not included) to work. The power supply should have at least 2 amps of output to power the whole strip. If the power supply is too weak, some LEDs may not light up properly.
The RGB strips are different from the regular white strips because they have three times more LEDs. When set to white, at full brightness, the RGB strips use about three times more power than the regular white strips. A 5-meter roll of RGB LEDs uses about 2.8 amps at 24VDC. If you connect three of these strips together, you will need about 8.4 amps.
Note: These are NOT individually addressable LED strips. Each color has its own separate 24VDC circuit, for a total of three circuits (R G B). You can power these strips with regular 24V DC if you don’t need advanced flashing patterns or color mixing.
