1S 3.7V 6A 4MOS BMS Li-ion 18650 Battery Protection Board
Li-ion batteries are widely used in many indoor and outdoor gadgets because of their high charge storage capacity. They are compact, more efficient, and have a higher energy intensity than other types of batteries. However, they also have some drawbacks. They require constant monitoring of their charging and discharging process to avoid damaging the battery life and reducing the charge storage capacity. If the battery is discharged below a certain voltage range, the battery cell may be damaged. If the battery is overcharged, it may explode.
To prevent these problems, we can use battery protection and battery charging circuits such as this product. This is a Li-ion single-cell charger/protection circuit that can charge a single cell of 15 Amp capacity or 5 to 6 parallel-connected li-ion cells of 2500mAh each. It uses MOSFETs to monitor the battery and protect it from overcharge, over-discharge, and short circuits.
