PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A battery management system (BMS) is a device that monitors the status of batteries, controls the charging and discharging process, and performs other functions.
This module is a BMS charge-discharge controller that comes with a pre-soldered nickel strip for a single 18650 rechargeable cell. It protects the batteries from short circuit, overcharge, and over-discharge. It also cuts off the power supply when at least one battery reaches its maximum capacity. This BMS controller can operate for more than 30,000 hours and has a maximum current of 5A.
The module will enter the “protection” mode if the supply voltage exceeds the maximum limit. To reset the module, you need to either apply voltage to the BMS board input again or wait until the controller turns off the protection automatically.
