The AD9833 is a low-power, programmable waveform generator that can produce sine, triangular, and square wave outputs. It is essential for various sensing, actuation, and time domain reflectometry (TDR) applications. Its output frequency and phase are software programmable for easy tuning, and it requires no external components.

 

The device features a standard serial interface, enabling direct connection with multiple microprocessors. It utilizes an external serial clock for writing data or control information.

 

The AD9833 operates through a 3-wire serial interface, compatible with up to 40 MHz clock rates and adheres to DSP and microcontroller standards. It functions with a power supply ranging from 2.3 V to 5.5 V.
