1s18650 3.7V lithium battery protection plate 6 MOS
Li-ion batteries are widely used in many indoor and outdoor gadgets because of their high charge storage capacity. They are compact, more efficient and have a higher energy intensity than other types of batteries. However, they also have some drawbacks. For example, they need to be monitored constantly during the charging and discharging process. Otherwise, they may lose their battery life and charge capacity. If they are discharged below a certain voltage range, they may get damaged. If they are overcharged, they may explode.
To prevent these problems, we can use battery protection and battery charging circuits such as this product. This is a Li-ion single-cell charger/protection circuit that can charge a single cell of 15 Amp capacity or 5 to 6 parallel-connected li-ion cells of 2500mAh each. It uses MOSFETs to monitor the battery cells and protect them from overcharge, over-discharge and short circuit.
