Introducing the TP4056 1A Li-ion Lithium Battery Charging Module – Mini USB, a compact and efficient solution for charging 3.7V lithium batteries. Featuring an onboard Mini USB interface, this module allows convenient charging directly from a computer USB port. Alternatively, you can connect an external power source to the IN+/IN- pads for added flexibility in your DIY projects.
Designed with precision and reliability, each module is thoroughly tested before shipment to ensure optimal performance. Its internal PMOSFET architecture eliminates the need for a blocking diode and prevents negative charge current, while thermal feedback regulates the charging current to maintain safe operating temperatures.
The TP4056 module has a fixed charge voltage of 4.2V and allows programmable charging current through a single resistor. Charging automatically terminates when the current drops to 1/10th of the programmed value after reaching the final float voltage. Additional features include current monitoring, under-voltage lockout, automatic recharge, and status indicators for charge termination and input voltage.
For optimal use, consider the recommended charging current based on battery capacity, use the appropriate wire gauge and length, and ensure good contact between the module and battery. Please note that this breakout board does not include overcurrent protection.
