A battery protection board is an integrated circuit board that protects rechargeable batteries (mainly lithium batteries) from overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent, short circuit, and extreme temperature conditions. Because of the material properties of lithium batteries, they always need a protection board with a sampling resistor and a current fuse. This 3S BMS board can connect 3 x 18650 batteries to form a battery pack that can provide up to 15V DC output at 15A current for heavy-duty applications.
