The Water Flow Sensor YF-S402B 5-24V Flowmeter, with a flow range of 0.3-6L/min, functions as a small turbine. Its output is a series of digital pulses, where the pulse frequency correlates with the liquid’s flow rate through the sensor. This digital signal, ranging from 0Hz to 100Hz, can be directly read by a microcontroller’s digital input/output pins.
