XKC-Y25 PNP Intelligent Non-Contact Water Level Sensor
A non-contact liquid level sensor detects the presence of liquid through a water induction capacitor. The sensor has some static capacitance due to the capacitor distribution when no liquid is near it. When the liquid rises and gets closer to the sensor, it adds a parasitic capacitance to the static one, increasing the sensor’s terminal capacitance. The control IC receives the changing capacitance signal and converts it into a varying electrical signal. It then uses an algorithm to measure and evaluate the degree of variation. If the variation exceeds a certain threshold, it means that the liquid level has reached the sensing point.
