The YF-DN50 2 inch is a water flow sensor with a plastic body. It has a water rotor and a hall-effect sensor that measure the flow of water for industrial purposes. The rotor spins faster or slower depending on the rate of water flow. The hall-effect sensor sends out pulses that correspond to the rotor’s speed. The flow sensor’s output is proportional to the water flow. More water means more pulses.
