This is an RS422 interface module that allows two-way communication over a distance of up to 1000 meters. The module has the following features:
– ESD protection of 15KV to prevent damage from electrostatic discharge.
– Onboard current limiting resistor of 10 ohms to protect against excessive current.
– TVS diode to protect against lightning strikes and voltage spikes.
– 120-ohm termination resistor to reduce interference from long-range communication.
– Power indicator light and data transmission and reception indicator light to show the status of the module.
– TTL side powered by 5V DC and compatible with 5V logic signal.
The module uses the original imported MAX490 chips, which offer superior stability and communication speed than domestic products, reaching up to 2.5MBPS.
