With the same capabilities as the Mega 2560, the Mega Pro Embed is a stable and reliable option, utilizing the original chip and high-quality 16 MHz quartz resonators. The CH340G chip facilitates seamless UART to USB conversion, ensuring stable data transfer at a frequency of 12 MHz (note: a driver must be installed on the computer).
Power the board or its pins through the Micro USB connector. The onboard voltage regulator (LDO) can accept input voltages from 6V to 9V (with a peak tolerance of 18V DC). While the regulator can handle up to 18V, it’s advisable to stay within the recommended voltage range to prevent excessive heat and potential damage to the device.
