FPC1020 Fingerprint Touch Sensor Kit
This kit contains a fingerprint touch sensor based on the FPC1020 touch fingerprint sensor and a control board to operate it.
The FPC1020 touch fingerprint sensor is a product of Fingerprint Cards and is widely used in smartphones such as Huawei Mate 7. It uses capacitive sensor technology to capture high-quality images with 256 gray scale values in each programmable pixel. It can read fingerprints in any condition, whether dry, wet or dirty, thanks to its 3D pixel sensing technology. The control board has an ARM® Cortex®‑M processor and a pre-loaded program that handles the UART commands. It allows us to control the fingerprint sensor through the serial port.
This kit is user-friendly and comes with an Arduino code that helps us get started quickly. It also includes a Grove cable that enables us to connect it to the Grove system easily.
