The Waveshare Long-wave IR Thermal Imaging Camera HAT (B) for Raspberry Pi features an 80×62 pixel array and supports thermal imaging with 45° or 90° FOV options. Using hybrid technology (microbolometer and thermopile), it provides accurate non-contact temperature measurements with a ±1.5°C accuracy. The camera offers continuous thermal video streams at up to 25 FPS and is ideal for applications like fever detection, security monitoring, industrial temperature control, and smart home integration. It connects via a 40-pin GPIO header and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
