The LCD1602 Parallel LCD Display is an excellent choice for small visual output in Arduino projects. With a 16-character by 2-line display, it shows clear black text on a gray background, enhanced by a backlight for easy readability. This display is perfect for Arduino-based projects and can be easily interfaced with Arduino or other microcontrollers.
Ideal for displaying simple text or sensor data such as temperature, pressure, or system readings, the LCD1602 offers a straightforward solution for adding visual feedback to your projects.
Note that the display requires 8 pins on your Arduino for a direct connection. However, to simplify wiring, you can solder an I2C adapter to the display, reducing the connection to just two I2C pins, and easily control it with the help of a suitable library and some basic code.
