Introducing the TCRT5000 Dual Channel Line Tracking Sensor Module, a versatile infrared reflective sensor perfect for color and distance detection applications.
This module features the TCRT5000 IR sensor, which combines an IR transmitter and an IR receiver to effectively detect color and distance. The IR transmitter continuously emits infrared signals that are reflected by nearby objects, allowing the IR receiver to pick them up.
Ideal for line-following robots, object-sorting systems, and various automation projects, this sensor can distinguish between white and black surfaces. It has a measuring distance range of 1mm to 8mm, with an optimal point around 2.5mm.
Equipped with an onboard potentiometer, you can easily adjust the sensitivity to meet your specific needs. The infrared diode emits light continuously when powered. If the emitted infrared light isn’t adequately reflected, the receiver diode remains off, resulting in a LOW output on the DO pin.
Please note that this updated version of the product features a new pin sequence: VCC, D0, A0, GND.
