Product Description
This is a Raindrops Detection Sensor Module that can sense rain and measure how heavy it is. It can work with Arduino and other devices to check different weather conditions and send output signals in digital and analog forms.
The sensor module has two parts: a rain board and a control board. The rain board is a circuit board that catches raindrops on its surface. The control board uses an op-amp to measure how much the rain board resists the electric current. The resistance depends on how much water is on the rain board. More water means less resistance and lower output voltage. Less water means more resistance and higher output voltage. For example, a board with no water will output 5V.
The control board also has a LED that shows if it has power and a potentiometer that lets you change how sensitive the sensor is. The sensor module uses the LM393 op-amp.
