Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor
This soil moisture sensor uses capacitive sensing to measure soil moisture levels, offering a more durable and corrosion-resistant alternative to traditional resistive sensors. Simply insert it into the soil near your plants, and you can display real-time moisture data to your friends!
The module includes a voltage regulator, allowing it to operate within a voltage range of 3.3V to 5.5V, making it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V low-voltage microcontrollers. For use with a Raspberry Pi, an ADC converter is required.
This sensor also features a 3-pin “Gravity” interface, making it easy to connect to the Gravity I/O expansion shield for seamless integration into your projects.
