PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This module lets you add up to 16 input/output pins by using only two pins for control. It uses the PCF8575 chip, which has an I2C interface and 16-bit quasi-bidirectional input/output pins. It also has a 3.3V level converter circuit on board. If you don’t solder the VCC-VDD pad, the PCF8575 level will be 3.3V. If you do, the level will match VCC.
