DS18B20 Temperature Sensor Module
The DS18B20 Temperature Sensor Module is a digital temperature sensor that can be easily connected to an Arduino using just one 4.7kΩ resistor. The connections are simple: connect pin 1 to ground, pin 2 to the output, and pin 3 to the positive voltage source, with the resistor linked to pin 2.
This sensor utilizes the 1-wire protocol, allowing multiple sensors to be connected using a single common wire to the Arduino. The output is digitally accurate to 12 bits, enabling temperature measurements with a precision of 0.0625 ºC.
Pin Configuration
- Base 1 – GND
- Base 2 – 5V [VCC]
