Product Description
- The tilt sensor module is equipped with the essential components for operation. Once powered, it is ready for use. When attached to an object, it will detect if the object is tilted. Its digital output simplifies usage, as you can determine the object’s tilt by reading the output. It employs either an SW-460D or SW-520D tilt sensor, which are ball rolling types.
- Featuring an M3 mounting hole, it can be easily attached to any object. The module offers a tilt switch with high sensitivity and is commonly used for tilt detection. It includes a power LED and a status LED for visual indication.
- The module outputs a logic LOW when not tilted up to the threshold angle, and switches to a logic HIGH once tilted beyond this angle. Testing has shown that the tilt angle range is quite large, spanning from 45 to 130 degrees, though it also depends on the angular velocity. Additionally, it can serve as a vibration sensor.
- The output can be connected directly to an MCU, allowing the microcontroller to detect changes in level and, consequently, changes in the angle of the environment. It is compatible with any microcontroller that has a digital input, such as the PIC or Arduino series, enabling tilt detection functionality.
