PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A battery management system (BMS) is a device that monitors the status of batteries, controls the charging/discharging process, and performs other functions.
This BMS module has protection features against short circuits, overcharging, and over-discharging. It can also turn off the power supply to the batteries when at least one battery reaches its maximum capacity. This is one of the functions of the charge controller. The BMS controller is designed to operate for more than 30,000 hours. The maximum current it can handle is 3A.
If the supply voltage exceeds the maximum allowed value, the charge controller will enter the “protection” mode. To reset the module, you need to either apply voltage again to the input of the BMS board or wait for some time until the charge controller automatically turns off the protection.
