120W 10-32V to 35-60V 6A DC-DC Boost Converter Module
The featured DC-DC Boost Power Supply/Converter Module offers exceptional versatility, efficiently stepping up input voltages from 10V to 32V to output voltages ranging between 35V and 60V. With an impressive output power capability of up to 120W and a maximum current handling of 6A, this module caters to demanding applications.
Engineered for heavy-duty performance, this 120W DC-DC Boost Converter boasts a prominent toroidal inductor and dual heatsinks, ensuring reliable operation under various conditions. It’s particularly well-suited for automotive environments, enabling the conversion of standard 12V battery power to 19V for laptop charging or to 18V or 24V for other applications necessitating higher voltages.
It’s important to note the absence of reverse polarity protection. To mitigate this, it’s recommended to use a series diode. However, for high loads, this may not be feasible, so exercising caution regarding input polarity is crucial to prevent potential damage to the module.
Applications:
- DIY adjustable output vehicle power supply. Provide 12V input, the output voltage can be continuously adjusted from 35V to 60V (output voltage cannot be lower than the input voltage).
- Universal car laptop power supply. Provide 12V input, the output voltage is adjustable to your notebook to work. Can easily drive dual-core or quad-core notebooks at 19V and up to 6A output current.
- Boost Charger, to convert your car’s 12V power to greater than 12V, such as 18V or 24V
- Power supply for your electronic devices, as long as the voltage is adjusted to the voltage and does not exceed the module’s rated current.
Note:
- Set the output voltage to the desired level using a voltmeter before connecting it to your equipment or load.
- Short circuit protection: None, please use caution to protect the module from overcurrent
- Input reverse polarity protection: None, please use a diode in series with the input to protect against input reverse polarity
