0.96 Inch SPI OLED LCD Module + CSpin 7pin (with GND VCC) White SSD1306 Chip
The OLED Display 0.96-inch SPI White module is a versatile display module compatible with any microcontroller utilizing SPI or I2C protocols. With a resolution of 128×64 pixels, it offers crisp graphics and text display capabilities.
To set up the OLED Display 0.96-inch SPI White module for I2C communication, some modifications are required. Firstly, the resistor at position R3 should be resoldered to R1, and the R8 resistor should be shorted with soldering tin (essentially creating a 0 Ohm resistor). The pull-up resistors R6 and R7 are already soldered, requiring no further action.
Once these modifications are complete, the module is prepared for I2C communication. The CS (Chip Select) Pin is optional and can be connected to GND. The DC (Data/Command) Pin selects the address; for standard addressing, it should be wired to GND.
Regarding the RES (Reset) pin, it requires a low pulse during startup and a high voltage during operation, similar to the SPI mode. For optimal operation, it’s recommended to connect a 100nF capacitor to GND and a 10k resistor to VCC.
