18650 Li-ion Lithium Battery Capacity Tester

This board is a lithium-ion battery capacity tester that measures the capacity of a fully charged battery connected to its inputs. It has a 4-digit seven segment display that shows the battery capacity, current and voltage. It also has 1W resistors that discharge the battery at a constant current output.

Instruction:

1. Make sure the battery is fully charged before the test.
2. Connect the positive input of the tester to the positive terminal of the battery, and the negative input to the negative terminal. Do not reverse the polarity (this may damage the circuit with the load)! Connect the load to the positive and negative outputs of the tester. Use a micro USB power supply (not a desktop or laptop USB) to power the tester, then read the battery voltage.
3. To start the test automatically, just press the “OK” button once. The tester will determine the appropriate cut-off voltage based on the battery’s full charge voltage, and will flash three times after the test. To set the cut-off voltage manually, press “+” or “-” buttons to adjust the voltage value when the battery voltage is displayed. The voltage value starts with P and has a resolution of 0.1V. After setting the value, press “OK” to start the test.
4. When the test starts, the tester will turn on the electronic switch of the load. The tester will display the released capacity (Ah), the discharge current (A), and the battery voltage (V) alternately during the test. When the battery voltage reaches the cut-off voltage, the tester will turn off the load switch and keep displaying the capacity (Ah) and other data. The corresponding indicator will flash quickly to indicate that this is the actual capacity of the battery after discharging. Press “OK” to stop flashing and stabilize the data display, then press “OK” again to return to the power-on state. You can replace the battery and test another one.

Use the resistance of the discharge process, resistive load will seriously heat, please pay attention to safety!
