The DS18B20 Waterproof Temperature Sensor Probe is based on the DS18B20 sensor, making it ideal for measuring temperatures in remote or wet conditions. Its digital design ensures no signal degradation over long distances.
These 1-wire digital temperature sensors offer good accuracy (±0.5°C over a wide range) and provide up to 12 bits of resolution from the onboard digital-to-analog converter.
They work well with any microcontroller using a single digital pin, and you can connect multiple sensors to the same pin, as each one has a unique 64-bit ID programmed at the factory for easy identification. Compatible with 3.0-5.0V systems, the sensor requires a 4.7k resistor as a pull-up from the DATA pin to the VCC line when used with a microcontroller.
