The CUAV V6X Flight Controller marks a significant advancement in Pixhawk technology, developed collaboratively by CUAV and PX4. It adheres to the Pixhawk FMU V6X standard, prioritizing exceptional security and stability for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Central to the V6X is an H7 double-precision floating-point arithmetic unit coupled with a Cortex-M3 coprocessor, each with its dedicated bus and power supply system. This architecture guarantees robust performance and reliability during flight operations.

Equipped with three redundant IMUs and factory-calibrated IMU temperature technology, the V6X ensures precise and dependable flight dynamics. The integration of dual redundant barometers enhances the reliability of altitude measurements.

The controller’s broad expansion capabilities are underscored by the integration of a 100M Ethernet PHY, enabling swift communication with mission computers, fiber optic inertial navigation systems, high-end surveying and mapping cameras, and other industrial devices installed on UAVs, meeting the demands of complex UAV missions.

An H7 Double Precision Floating-Point Arithmetic Unit Processor

Utilizing the STM32H753IIK6 processor with a double precision floating point arithmetic unit (DSP&FPU), a main frequency of up to 480MHz, 2M FLASH, and 1 MB RAM, the CUAV V6X Flight Controller provides formidable computing power and swift data processing capabilities, enabling more functional development and enhancing flight stability, thus opening up more possibilities.

The ARM® Cortex®-M3 coprocessor enhances the expansion capacity, adding greater security and scalability to UAVs. 

A multiple redundancy design guarantees flight safety. Equipped with three redundant IMUs and two redundant barometers on separate buses, the system can seamlessly transition to a reliable IMU if one set fails, thereby ensuring safer flight conditions.

Integrated 100M Ethernet Interface
High-speed communication with task computers through Ethernet; In the future, high-end links, INS, and high-end mapping cameras can be connected through Ethernet to meet the needs of high-end UAVs.

Adapt to More Complex Magnetic Environments
In order to adapt to the complex magnetic field environment, the RM3100 magnetic compass is selected, which supports the GPS direction-finding function, and completely solves the trouble of magnetic compass interference.

Pixhawk V6X Autopilot Flight Controller Modular Design
The CUAV V6X Flight Controller adopts a modular design, and the core module contains the processor and all IMUs. Users can design their own baseboard according to the design reference, to meet the personalized customization needs.
