The TSOP38238 is a miniaturized infrared receiver that combines a PIN diode and preamplifier on a lead frame, while the epoxy package serves as an IR filter. It outputs a demodulated signal that can be directly decoded by a microprocessor. Compatible with all common IR remote control data formats, this receiver is perfect for a wide range of infrared communication systems.
