Looking for Lis3dh Triple Axis? Adafruit LIS3DH Triple-Axis Accelerometer (+-2g/4g/8g/16g) is available at Zbotic with fast shipping across India.
The Adafruit LIS3DH breakout is a feature filled, low power, accelerometer that is configurable to several ranges of sensitivity. This accelerometer chipset is commonly found in a lot of commercial products so Adafruit has thrown together a convenient breakout board to test and experiment with it! The LIS3DH sensor has multiple data rate options ranging from 1Hz to 5Khz and has ±2g , ±4g , ±8g , or ±16g selectable scaling. The sensor communicates using I2C (2 address available) or SPI and is both 5V and 3.3V logic compatible. It can be mounted using the two 2.5mm mounting holes and includes a small chunk of breakaway header if you are using this with a breadboard or perfboard.
In addition to all of this, there are also 3 extra 10 bit precision analog to digital pins available that can be read over I2C.
Please Note: As of December 2020 we are now carrying the updated version of this sensor. Adafruit has updated this to be STEMMA QT and Qwiic compatible – that means there’s now an easy way to plug-and-play this sensor without any soldering!

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the LIS3DH breakout support both I2C and SPI?
Yes. You can select I2C by wiring SDA/SCL and choosing one of two SA0 address options, or use SPI by connecting SCK, MOSI, MISO and CS pins for full-duplex communication.
How do I change the accelerometer’s full-scale range?
Use the LIS3DH control register settings in your code or via the Adafruit_LIS3DH library’s setRange() function to switch between ±2g, ±4g, ±8g or ±16g on the fly.
Is the breakout board 5V logic compatible?
Yes. The onboard level shifters and power regulator allow you to safely connect the module to 3.3 V or 5 V microcontroller systems without additional components.
