- The ISD1820 Recording Module Voice Board offers an easy way to integrate voice recording and playback into your project. It can be controlled directly through its push buttons or via any microcontroller, such as Arduino, providing operational versatility. Equipped with a built-in microphone and compatible with any 8 Ohm speaker, it ensures convenient recording and playback functions.
- At the core of the module is the ISD1820 voice record and playback IC, capable of recording a single voice message up to 10 seconds long. The recorded message is stored in specialized analog flash memory, ensuring it is retained even when power is disconnected. The included electret microphone allows for seamless recording of your desired message, while the push buttons provide options for recording, partial playback, or full playback.
- Additionally, the module features header pins for easy interfacing with a microcontroller, simplifying integration into larger projects. Playback control can be managed with just one digital pin, streamlining the implementation process. Buttons control audio recording method of operation: –
- REC button: record button, you can press and hold the recording, release the button to stop recording.
- RLAYE key: trigger mode playback, press will play this whole speech.
- PLAYL key: jog mode playback, press and hold until playback, release to stop playback.
- RPL Jumper: loop mode control, loop playback.
- FT Jumper: direct control, microphone voice through the speaker can playback.
