This text describes the N20 6V 2000RPM Micro Metal Gear Motor, which is designed to operate at 6V. However, this type of motor can also run with lower or higher voltages within a certain range. The optimal voltage range is 3 – 6 V, and the motor can start rotating with as little as 0.5 V.
Using voltages below the optimal range may not be effective, and using voltages above the optimal range may reduce the motor’s lifespan. The micro metal gear motors come in various gear ratios, from 5:1 to 1000:1. Except for the 1000:1 ratio model, all of the micro metal gear motors have the same dimensions. Therefore, you can easily replace one model with another if you need a different gear ratio.
