FlySky FS-IA10B Radio Receiver

Expanding on the FlySky iA6B receiver, FlySky now offers a 10-channel version named the FlySky FS-IA10B Radio Receiver. Similar to the FS-iA6B, the iA10B supports iBUS, SBUS, PPM, and PWM for superior control.

The benefit of PPM/SBUS over conventional PWM channels is the need for only one signal wire instead of one for each PWM channel, simplifying wiring for PPM-compatible flight controllers like the Naze32. Additionally, with optional telemetry sensors, the receiver’s functionality can be extended to monitor flight battery voltage and even motor RPM.

Designed as a full 10-channel receiver, it serves most model types and is deemed “full range,” capable of managing both larger and smaller models. The FS-iA10B’s dual antennas provide exceptional reception (with reported ranges exceeding 1km) and interference rejection. For optimal performance, ensure the antennas are positioned at a 90-degree angle to each other.

Though the FS-iA10B is marginally bigger than the FS-iA6B, it remains compact and features end-on connectors for tidy installations in confined spaces.

How to bind the RX (receiver) to the TX (transmitter):

1. Insert the bind plug into BAT, then power on the plane/helicopter; the LED light should start flashing (ensure that power is supplied to the RX through the ESC). Press and hold the bind button on the transmitter module while switching on the TX. The light should become steady. Release the bind button, power off the plane/helicopter, remove the bind plug, and then turn off the TX. Finally, switch on the TX followed by the plane/helicopter.
