The 12A Step-Down Module is a versatile, non-isolated power regulation solution designed for a wide range of applications. With an input voltage range of 4.5V to 30V and an adjustable output voltage from 0.8V to 30V (defaulting to 5V), this module can provide reliable power conversion for various devices. Capable of delivering output currents up to 12A, it ensures efficient heat dissipation with a power handling capacity of up to 200W. The module operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for demanding environments.

Operating at a frequency of 300KHz, it achieves high conversion efficiency of up to 95%, although efficiency may vary depending on the input/output voltage, current, and voltage differential. The module includes built-in protections, such as short-circuit protection (with a 14A current limit) and over-temperature protection, which automatically disables the output to prevent damage. However, it does not have input reverse connection protection, which can be addressed by adding a diode in series with the input.

Installation is simple and tool-free, requiring only four 3mm screws for mounting. The module is designed for easy wiring, with V-IN for input and V-OUT for output. The shell design means the output must be connected using welding wire. This step-down module offers a reliable and efficient solution for various power supply needs while ensuring safe and convenient operation.
