Product Description
This module has 8 channels/roads of relays that are isolated by light coupling and meet the safety standard for controlling and loading areas. It uses optical coupling isolation technology.
The module has reliable and stable triggering for the relays. It has a double FR–4 circuit board design with high-end SMT process. It also has indicators for power and relay operation. The relay terminals (C, NC, NO) are easy to wire up through screw terminals.
The module’s inputs are isolated to protect any sensitive control circuitry.
It can be controlled by a variety of microcontrollers such as Arduino, AVR, PIC, ARM and so on.
The use of high-voltage relays reduces the risk of overheating the relay as electromechanical relays limit the current consumption according to a voltage rating.
Module interface:
The positive (according to the relay voltage VCC: connect power supply)
GND: connect power negative
IN1: relay module (effective) high-level trigger signal trigger end
IN2: relay module (effective) high-level trigger signal trigger end
IN3: relay module (effective) high-level trigger signal trigger end
IN4: relay module (effective) high-level trigger signal trigger end
IN5: relay module (effective) high-level trigger signal trigger end
IN6: relay module (effective) high-level trigger signal trigger end
IN7: relay module (effective) high-level trigger signal trigger end
IN8: relay module (effective) high-level trigger signal trigger end
Meaning of High level and Low-level
- High-level trigger refers to using the anode voltage at the VCC connection way of a trigger and triggers the end when the trigger side has the positive voltage or to trigger voltage when the relay is off.
- Low-level trigger refers to using the negative voltage at the GND connection way of a trigger and triggers the end when the trigger side has 0 v low voltage or voltage to can trigger, the relay is off.

How to Use 8 Road/Channel Relay Module (with light coupling) 24V
Begin by applying a 24V DC supply to the module’s VCC and GND screw terminals. Wire your load devices to the relay’s common (C) and normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) terminals. Connect the control signals from your microcontroller to the Berg stick input header; each input triggers its corresponding relay via the optocouplers. Power on, and monitor the onboard LEDs to verify relay activation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What load ratings do the relays support?
Each relay on this module is rated for switching up to 10A at 250VAC or 10A at 30VDC, making it suitable for a wide range of electrical loads including motors, lights and heating elements.
How is the module isolated from my controller?
The module uses optocoupler (light coupling) isolation on every input channel. This ensures that high-voltage transients and noise from the relay coils do not affect your microcontroller or sensitive logic circuits.
What connections are required to start using this module?
Supply 24V DC to the VCC and GND terminals, wire your external loads to the relay’s common and NO/NC screw terminals, and connect your control signals to the Berg stick header. Once power is applied, driving an input pin will activate its corresponding relay.
