This module contains four Solid State Relays (SSRs) that can control up to 2A at 240VAC each. The SSRs are based on the Omron G3MB model and have built-in resistive fuses. Each SSR has three terminals: NO (Normally Open), COM (Common), and NC (Normally Closed).
A Solid-State Relay works like a mechanical relay, but without noise or wear and tear. It can switch on or off a device by using a digital signal. When the signal is applied, the NC terminal disconnects from the COM terminal, and the NO terminal connects to the COM terminal. The device connected to the SSR will turn on or off depending on how it is wired.
