Description:

The industry’s first intelligent airspeed meter with de-icing and drainage functionalities. It integrates an ARM M4 processor, a pitot tube, an airspeed sensor, a temperature and humidity sensor, and a dual temperature compensation system. SKYE 2 features a new generation of M4C intelligent heating strategy and a drainage hole, which can melt the ice and drain the water to avoid data errors. The low temperature drift, high vibration resistance airspeed sensor can easily cope with various environmental challenges such as cold, fog, and rain. A new generation of linear structure design helps reduce wind resistance. Adopts DroneCAN protocol, supports open-source platforms such as ArduPilot, and is suitable for various Unmanned Systems models.

Specifications:

Intelligent temperature compensation, Cold-proof and de-icing

It supports 68V voltage input, and the front end integrates a high-power 35W probe temperature compensation system. It can intelligently control the probe heating, de-icing, and drainage according to the ambient temperature and humidity, avoiding data errors caused by ice and blockage of the probe, and greatly improving the reliability of unmanned systems operations.

Renewed and upgraded, double insurance and fully waterproof

The appearance adopts a new generation linear structure design, with lower wind resistance, tighter structural connection, and IP54 protection performance. Built-in drainage holes can automatically drain away excess rainwater during flight, providing all-around rain splash protection.

Highly integrated, multifunctional integration

The innovative, highly integrated technology is used internally to integrate the pitot tube, airspeed sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, ARM M4 processor, and dual temperature compensation system into one, realizing the integration of multiple functional modules.

Adopting CUAV’s new generation M4C intelligent heating strategy, it can accurately heat, melt ice, and drain water, making unmanned systems easily capable of operating in low-temperature environments.

Built-in differential pressure sensor with low temperature drift and high vibration resistance, fast response, and small data error. This ensures that unmanned systems can obtain accurate airspeed data in various environments, ensuring flight safety at all times.

Compatible with multiple platforms, using DroneCAN communication protocol

It adopts CAN bus communication protocol, which is compatible with open source platforms such as ArduPilot and PX4, and supports various types of unmanned system applications.
