The DHT22 (AM2302) is a digital module that measures temperature and humidity with high accuracy and a wide range. It has an onboard sensor that uses a single-wire interface to communicate with the environment. The sensor is a combination of a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor, which output a digital signal that does not require analog input pins.
Note: Simply connect the first pin on the left to 3-5V power, the second pin to your data input pin, and the rightmost pin to the ground. Although it uses a single wire to send data it is not Dallas One Wire compatible! If you want multiple sensors, each one must have its own data pin!

How to Use Waveshare DHT22 Temperature-Humidity Sensor
To use the sensor, connect the leftmost pin to 3.3–5.5V power, the rightmost pin to ground, and the middle pin to a digital I/O pin of your microcontroller with a 4.7KΩ pull-up resistor.
