The DC 5V Ultrasonic Humidifier Power Circuit Board with Atomizing Chip is designed for use with a 20mm diameter atomization plate. This ultrasonic humidifier utilizes a piezoelectric transmitter module that operates based on the principle of cavitation created by sound waves. By connecting a DC 3-12V power supply, it transforms into a mini ultrasonic atomizer.
The process begins with sound waves that create alternating areas of compression and rarefaction. Due to the rapid movement of these waves, water droplets are unable to maintain their liquid state, resulting in immediate vaporization. This vibration is generated by a piezoelectric filament.
Principle of Operation:
A piezoelectric transducer is submerged in a water reservoir, converting a high-frequency electronic signal into high-frequency mechanical oscillations. As the oscillation frequency increases, the water particles can no longer keep pace with the oscillating surface. This creates momentary vacuums and strong compressions, leading to the explosive formation of air bubbles (cavitation). During cavitation, broken capillary waves are produced, resulting in tiny droplets (approximately 1 micron in diameter) that break the surface tension of the water. These droplets rapidly evaporate into the air, becoming vapor that is easily absorbed into the surrounding atmosphere.
