This Waterproof Ultrasonic Obstacle Sensor has some important advantages over the conventional sensors in terms of its design. It consists of two separate parts: the transducer, which is the sensing element, and the control board.
This Ultrasonic Distance Sensor is an industrial-grade sensor that measures distance. It has the same interface as other cheap ultrasonic sensors, but it performs better and can withstand harsher environments and water.
Many ultrasonic distance sensors are available on the market, but some applications require a sensor that can work in vulnerable conditions. This Waterproof Ultrasonic Obstacle Sensor fulfills this requirement.
It is very easy to use. A control port with a high level of more than 10US can wait for a high-level output at the receiving port. An output can drive the timer when this port is low, and the timer value can be read at this time. This time corresponds to the distance measurement. By continuously testing, the measurement value of the moving object can be obtained.

How to Use Waterproof Ultrasonic Obstacle Sensor Probe
Mount the waterproof probe at the required horizontal distance from the target and secure the control board in a dry location. Connect the probe cable to the board, supply the specified voltage (typically 5 V), then wire the trigger and echo pins to your microcontroller. Send a 10 µs high pulse on the trigger pin and measure the echo pulse width on the echo pin to calculate distance.
