The HC-12 Wireless RF UART Communication Module is an advanced, multi-channel embedded wireless data transmission module. Operating in the 433.4 – 473.0 MHz frequency range, it allows users to set communication channels with a step size of 400 kHz, offering a total of 100 channels. The module boasts a maximum transmit power of 100mW (20dBm) and a receiver sensitivity of -116dBm at a baud rate of 5000bps, providing an effective communication range of up to 500 meters.
The module is encapsulated using a stamped hole method, making it easy to solder. Its compact size of 27.4mm x 13.2mm x 4mm (including the antenna base but excluding the spring antenna) allows for convenient integration into application systems. It features a PCB antenna connector (ANT1) that supports coaxial cables for external 433MHz antennas, as well as an antenna soldering hole (ANT2) for attaching a spring antenna, giving users flexibility in antenna choice based on their needs.
The HC-12 module includes an integrated MCU, so no additional programming is required. Users can simply send and receive data, making it a plug-and-play solution for wireless communication applications.
