Product Description:
The XL4016 is a DC/DC converter that uses PWM (pulse-width modulation) to step down the voltage from a higher input to a lower output. It can handle a 12A load with high efficiency, low ripple, and excellent line and load regulation. It operates at a fixed frequency of 180 kHz and requires only a few external components. It also has internal frequency compensation and a fixed-frequency oscillator.
The PWM control circuit can vary the duty cycle from 0 to 100% linearly. It also has an overcurrent protection function that reduces the frequency from 180 kHz to 48 kHz when a short circuit occurs. It has an internal compensation block that simplifies the external circuit design.
