Waveshare MLX90640 IR Array Thermal Imaging Camera, 32×24 Pixels, 55° FOV:
This device is a 32×24 pixel thermal imaging camera with a 55° field of view, communicating through the I2C interface. It supports 3.3V/5V operating voltage and is compatible with host platforms like Raspberry Pi, Arduino (ESP32), STM32, among others.
The module employs the MLX90640 far-infrared thermal sensor array to detect the infrared distribution of objects within its field of view. It calculates the surface temperature of these objects and generates thermal images. Its compact size allows for easy integration into various industrial or intelligent control applications.
In the case of working with MCU:
VCC ↔ 3.3V / 5V
GND ↔ GND
SDA ↔ MCU.I2C data line
SCL ↔ MCU.I2C clock line
