The Espressif ESP32-WROVER-IB Wireless Module is a versatile WiFi-BT-BLE MCU module designed to cater to a wide range of applications, from low-power sensor networks to high-demand tasks like voice encoding, music streaming, and MP3 decoding. Equipped with a 4MB external SPI flash and an additional 32MB SPI Pseudo static RAM (PSRAM), it offers ample storage and memory resources.
At its core, the ESP32-WROVER-IB MCU Modules utilize the ESP32-D0WD chip, featuring two controllable CPU cores with an adjustable CPU clock frequency ranging from 80MHz to 240MHz. This system-on-chip (SoC) integrates a diverse set of peripherals, including capacitive touch sensors, Hall sensors, an SD card interface, Ethernet, high-speed SPI, UART, I2S, and I2C, ensuring comprehensive functionality.
The ESP-32S WiFi Bluetooth combo module provides SDK Firmware for swift online programming and open-source toolchains based on GCC, facilitating development support. It caters to a broad spectrum of applications such as IoT sensor hubs, loggers, video streaming for cameras, WiFi & Bluetooth-enabled devices, home automation, and mesh network applications, targeting makers, hardware engineers, software engineers, and solution providers.
Built with TSMC ultra-low-power 40 nm technology, the ESP32 is a single-chip 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth combo chip meticulously optimized for power performance, RF performance, robustness, versatility, and reliability. It stands out as the most integrated solution for WiFi + Bluetooth applications in the industry, requiring fewer than 10 external components. With integrated features like antenna switches, RF baluns, power amplifiers, low-noise receive amplifiers, filters, and power management modules, it minimizes the PCB footprint.
