Team Blacksheep RP-SMA Antenna (Long)

The RHCP TBS Triumph Antenna FPV RP-SMA 5.8GHz Antenna represents a significant improvement over many existing options in the FPV world. Video Aerial Systems LLC (IBcrazy) and Team BlackSheep collaborated to redefine the design and performance of modern 5.8 circular polarized antennas.

A key focus during its development was ensuring the Triumph’s durability. After numerous test flights and feedback from pilots, the decision was made to use a double-jacket heavy-duty semi-rigid cable and tin-plated connectors. For added protection, the antenna is housed in a special foam-filled and ultrasonically welded enclosure, safeguarding it from impacts with trees or other objects.

In pursuit of the best video signal quality and range, the design team moved beyond traditional Cloverleaf designs, investing significant effort in identifying and modifying the best antenna designs for FPV use.

Regarding connectors, a female RP-SMA connector features a male contact body and a male inner hole sleeve contact, while the male RP-SMA connector is the opposite.
