PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This device is a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar charger specifically designed for single-cell LiPo batteries. It allows you to capture and convert the maximum power from your solar panel or photovoltaic source, directing it efficiently into a rechargeable LiPo battery. Setting it up is simple: just connect your solar panel to one side of the charger and your battery to the other, and you’re ready to begin charging.
The MPPT functionality ensures that your photovoltaic cells continuously operate at their optimal power output, adjusting to changes in light intensity for maximum efficiency. This is typically achieved using a switch-mode DC-DC converter that maintains the highest possible output voltage and charging current.
Designed to charge a single polymer lithium-ion cell, the charger’s output is ideal for small-scale solar projects. The load should be connected in parallel to the battery. Each charger comes equipped with a CN3791 power tracking battery charging circuit and includes four pre-installed 2-pin JST/PH2.0 connectors for easy integration.
