Description:
The 8 Channel Bi-Directional Logic Level Converter Module is a small device that can safely convert 5V signals to 3.3V and vice versa. It also supports 2.8V and 1.8V devices.
This module is different from previous versions because it allows you to set high and low voltages and switch between them on the same channel. It has four pairs of pins, each with two inputs and two outputs, for converting high and low voltages. The level converter is very easy to use.
To operate, power the board from the two voltage sources your system uses. Connect the high voltage (e.g., 5V) to the HV pin, the low voltage (e.g., 3.3V) to the LV pin, and the ground from the system to the GND pin.
Example:
- High voltage: 5V → HV pin
- Low voltage: 3.3V → LV pin
- GND: Connect negative terminals, making the two power supplies common
- LVx input/output: 3.3V TTL
- HVx input/output: 5V TTL
- Bidirectional transfers occur between LVx and HVx
